I am Prakash Luitel, the General Manager of Shubha Sagun Wool Handicraft Industries, a company that was established in 2009 with the goal of promoting 'woolen felt crafts' around the globe. Our main products include Woolen Felt Balls, Felt Ball Rugs, Coasters, Toys, Shoes, Christmas items, and small accessories. The products we sell are used as a part of interior decoration and daily usage of placing and carrying goods . Our main market is Australia, USA, and some countries in Europe and Asia.

Early on, we sold our products in local handicraft shops and to people through networking. We were focused on specific products and had a small output.

Having a website or online shop was not so common back then. In 2011, I came across Alibaba while looking for ways to promote our business. I joined, thinking it was like a business directory. For the first few years, we remained as a free member. We use to get some inquiries but they never converted to orders. Our usage of the platform was slowly decreasing and so was our business. We were concerned, and at the same time, I was looking for a good way to advertise our products. I did some research and found that some of the well-known companies in our industry were already using Alibaba, but as Gold Supplier Members. After further research, I learned about the advantages of B2B services and Alibaba had everything we needed, so I decided to join.
