Lucy Peng

Lucy Peng is chief people officer of Alibaba Group with overall responsibility for corporate affairs, administration, marketing and human resources departments. She, along with the entire Alibaba Group leadership team, is one of the main guardians of continued organization development and preservation of Alibaba Group's values-based culture during a time when the company is experiencing rapid growth.

As one of the founders of Alibaba, Lucy has served in a number of other senior leadership roles at the company including marketing and customer service, thereby accumulating a wealth of experience in customer satisfaction and in maintaining company cultures.

Lucy graduated from Hangzhou Institute of Commerce of Zhejiang Gongshang University in 1994 with a degree in business administration and taught for five years at Zhejiang University of Finance and Economics after graduation.
