Jin Jianhang is senior vice president of Alibaba Group with responsibility for managing five functions: government relations; Alibaba Group R&D Institute; Ali Conference and Exhibitions; facilities construction and management; and Office of the Board of Alibaba Group.

A co-founder of Alibaba Group, Jin Jianhang has served in a variety of management roles since the company's inception, at different times heading the corporate affairs, marketing and website operations functions.He was previously president of Yahoo! Koubei.

Before joining Alibaba Group, Jin Jianhang worked for the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation (MOFTEC), where he was the first chief editor of www.moftec.gov.cn, the official website of MOFTEC. Prior to joining MOFTEC, Jin Jianhang worked as a journalist at several publications, including International Business Daily for five years.

Jin Jianhang graduated from Fudan University's journalism department in June 1991.
