Expect to Share
Whether it's taxis or hotel rooms, companies are now expecting employees to share with their co-workers. Susan Gurley, executive director of the Association of Corporate Travel Executives, says travel managers are asking employees to bunk with members of the same sex and wait at the airport for colleagues who might be arriving an hour later so they can share a taxi. It may be inconvenient, but it will count on the bottom line.
