Earlier this summer, a company of Thai beverage tycoon Charoen Sirivadhanabhakdi snapped up some prime Bangkok real estate for hotel and residential projects. Now he's reportedly eyeing an Australian hotel. The Australian said in a Thursday edition that Sirivadhanabhakdi is currently the only bidder for the Fourth Points Hotel in Sydney. It's certainly a buyer's market. The current owners are eager to sell as they soldier through a cash squeeze.
