Industrial Parks in Chongqing

Chongqing High-tech Park (CQHTP) is located in southwest Chongqing. It was approved by the State Council in March 1991. The Park covers 80 km2, and is divided into a few subsidiary zones. There are two important subsidiary parks within CQHTP, Shiqiaopu High tech Zone and Erlang Science & Technology Zone. The former is near the entrance of State Chengyu Expressway. It is 36 km from Chongqing Airport, 8 km from Chongqing Railway Station, 10 km from Chongqing Port and 13 km from the container terminal. Erlang Science & Technology Zone is a new project under construction. It aims to become an incubation center for high-tech ventures.
