Hutchison Telecommunications International, a subsidiary of billionaire Li Ka-Shing's Hutchison Whampoa (HWL), will offer the iPhone in Hong Kong and Macao in late 2008. HWL is involved in ports and related services, property and hotels, retail, energy, infrastructure, investments, and telecommunications. Hutchison Telecom, the first company to provide 3G services in Hong Kong, also operates fixed and mobile telecommunications services in countries such as Britain and Italy.
