Optus
North Sydney (Australia)-based SingTel Optus is a subsidiary of SingTel. Optus ranks second after Telstra in terms of mobile customers with 7.2 million subscribers as of March, 2008. Optus is the second mobile carrier to release the iPhone locally鈥攖he first was Vodafone. Both Optus and Vodafone have announced they will bring the 3G iPhone to Australia by July 11.
