NEW YORK, Oct 28 - The euro extended losses to trade below $1.47 in late trading on Wednesday as concerns about a global economic recovery and steep losses in stocks on Wall Street boosted the greenback's safe-haven appeal.
The euro fell as low as $1.4691, a more than 2-week low, according to Reuters data. It last traded at $1.4703, down 0.7 percent on the day.
