Lexmark to unveil web-linked touch screen printers

Lexmark, a printing solutions and services provider, is set to showcase the first line of web-connected touch screen all-in-one printers at the 'Gitex Technology Week,' which runs from October 18 to 22 in Dubai. 

These advanced printers with high tech innovation will be presented as part of its 2009 inkjet all-in-one (AIO) product line at the exhibition, said a senior official.

'Lexmark will deliver five new AIO inkjets ideal for small to medium sized businesses. From new product designs to industry leading touch screen solutions, Lexmark is introducing a robust, more innovative line of printers than ever before,' noted Mohammed Addarrat, GM of Lexmark International Middle East.

The new line includes a Web-connected touch screen AIO with Lexmark’s myTouch capacitive 4.3' touch screen technology, he noted.

The touch screen AIO will be available at competitive price points Lexmark’s myTouch with SmartSolutions technology is an innovative approach to user interfaces and includes easy-to-read graphical icons for basic AIO functions and “as needed” navigation for a more user-friendly experience.

SmartSolutions technology enables one-touch ‘customizations’ – unique workflows that eliminate repetitive tasks and pain points for each user.

With SmartSolutions, Lexmark is introducing its award-winning enterprise workflow solutions to SMB customers at more affordable price points to save them time, money and make them more efficient. SmartSolutions technology has also been built to leverage third-party developers that can create tailored applications.

Lexmark will also be demonstrating three ranges of printers in three distinct areas - home and SOHO section, an SMB section and a corporate one where Lexmark will showcase their 'Print Less, Save More' solutions.

“In addition to face-to-face interaction on the exhibition floor, our stand will provide attendees with a contextual opportunity to see and learn about our printers and printing solutions that can most positively impact their business,” Addarrat remarked.
