NUSA DUA, Indonesia, June 8 - Australia's trade minister said on Monday there was a clear commitment from the United States and the Cairns Group of agricultural exporters to re-engage on stalled world trade talks before the end of July.

Minister Simon Crean is chairing a ministerial meeting of the Cairns Group of nineteen leading agricultural exporting nations, which also includes Brazil and South Africa.

The talks in Bali, which are also being attended by the United States, India and the European Union, are aimed at pushing forward the troubled Doha round of world trade talks.
