Indonesia says 2008 rice output seen up 5.5 pct
Published: 03 Nov 2008 00:09:17 PSTJAKARTA, Nov 3 - Indonesian rice production is expected to increase by 5.5 percent to 60.28 million tonnes of unmilled grain this year, the state statistics bureau said on Monday.
The figure compares with a forecast of 59.88 million tonnes for 2008 announced in early July.
