Alibaba.com contributes positively to attendees at the Canton Fair

On Oct 15, 2008 the 104th Canton Fair will host over 190,000 attendees who have come to see the latest products and technologies.

Alibaba.com will again participate at the Canton Fair to provide practical sourcing tips and solutions to attendees. New registrants who sign up to Alibaba.com at the fair will receive valuable sourcing information by email matching their specific needs. Members will be able to take advantage of the many products and services available at Alibaba.com’s booth, including:

* Trade matching services

* CD-ROMs and industry reports

* Free Alibaba.com trial

* Complimentary use of the Alibaba.com lounge

* Business card printing

* Fax and printing services

Alibaba.com will of course be promoting Gold Suppliers at the event. Promotional material can already be seen dotting the Guangzhou landscape on everything from the subway to large floating balloons over the exhibition center.

In addition, on-site staff will be collecting information from trade show attendees in order to gauge current and oversea market conditions, the performance of the Alibaba.com website, as well as to improve customer relationships.

Helping Buyers and Suppliers Connect

Many attendees travel a long way to attend the Canton Fair. So in order to give the attendees more value, Alibaba.com will be holding a private sourcing event simultaneously with the Canton Fair. This event differs from its timely counterpart in that it allows suppliers and buyers to meet privately discuss business in a comfortable and quiet setting.

The Sourcing Event will be held on 23 and 24 of October on the 2^nd floor of the Cantonmart. The event will start each day at 11:30am, and provide suppliers with 2 hours to discuss with interested buyers. Canton Fair 2
