Nylon 6 filament yarn prices remained stable today. Though the price range mainly stayed unaltered, new orders were mainly concluded at the higher end of the range.

POY selling rates maintained stable due to weak demand in downstream twisters. Lower-grade semi-dull POY86Dtex/24F maintained to be traded at 24200-24500yuan/mt and higher-grade goods at 25000-25500yuan/mt.

Faced great resistance, trading prices of semi-dull FDY70D/24F ruled stable at 26000-26500yuan/mt.

Higher-grade semi-dull DTY70D/24F was changed hands at 27500-28500yuan/mt and lower-grade goods at 26000-26500yuan/mt.

Run rates in nylon 6 staple fiber plants rebounded to about 80%. NSF prices moved up to 24300-24500yuan/mt on rising costs.

A wait-and-see attitude continued among downstream plants. The sales ratio lingered at around 70-80% and downstream demand is expected to strengthen in late March.
