PP Market

PP market kept firm today, pushed up by petrochemical plants. Transactions were mainly done between traders while some downstream plants took offers.

In North China, PP powder climbed up by 50yuan/mt to 9750yuan/mt with limited supply and PP granule was offered at 10000yuan/mt.

In East China, PP market showed signs of warming up. Imported products were offered at 10000yuan/mt and a few transactions were heard done while downstream plants were mainly reluctant to take offers. Offers for PP powder were at 9900-10000yuan/mt.

PP USD market became firm today as offers were mainly above $1200/mt. Some raffia grade PP 1102K was changed hands at $1180/mt with increasing enquiries.

PP Fiber Market

PP fiber market stayed flat. In Shandong, staple fiber 1.5D was offered at 11000-11100 and 4D at 11000yuan/mt with moderate sales. In Zhejiang, filament market also saw flat sales and a few plants might raise FDY800D offers to 11700-11800yuan/mt since the price of raw materials climbed up sharply.
