Cotton grey fabric

Orders in 100% cotton grey fabrics concentrated mainly on all-cotton middy twill made of high and medium-count yarn, extra broad grey fabrics and plain cloth made of low and medium-count yarn. Middy twill, down-proofs, satin weave and plain cloth witnessed smooth sales. A shortage in supply occurred in some plants and orders began to stock up led to an increase in ex-works prices.

Mainstream price of extra broad middy twill (jet spinning) C40S×40S 133×72 2/1 105" was at 10.70-11.20yuan/m with better-quality ones at 11.40-11.50yuan/m. All-cotton middy twill (rapier) C40S×40S 133×72 2/1 67"was offered at about 6.50yuan/m with satin (jet spinning) JC60S×C40S 173×120 4/1 118" at 16.50-17.00yuan/m.

Besides, all-cotton plain cloth market saw fairly good sales, which leaded to a lack of some spot goods. As a result, all-cotton plain cloth C20S×20S 60×60 48.5" 1/1 increased by 0.20yuan/m to 4.40yuan/m. All-cotton high density middy twill made of high and medium-count yarn and fine cloth 90*88 witnessed fairly good off-takes. All-cotton single khaki drill and canvas made of low and medium-count yarn also sold well and their prices tended to be steady. High density middy twill C32S×21S 133×80 2/1 67" was pegged at 8.00yuan/m and fine cloth (jet spinning) JC60S×60S 90×88 64" 1/1 is priced at 5.30yuan/m,but all-cotton corduroy market still stayed quiet.

Polyester/cotton grey fabric

Polyester/cotton grey fabric market is stable. Sales of polyester/cotton thread plain cloth is good and the turnover of twill and poplin is also stable.

Rayon grey fabric

Rayon greige price climbs up on rising VSF and rayon yarn values. The higher price of rayon plain cloth R30S×30S 68×68 63" (true selvage) is revised up to 5yuan/meter and rayon fine cloth R60S×60S 90×88 65" (air-jet loom product) dominates at 5.7-5.8yuan/meter. Since VSF and rayon yarn prices still have upward momentum, rayon greige rates will continue to trend up.
