Nylon filament yarn producers were in a dilemma currently as the prices of their products were hard to pick up while feedstock costs kept high. With the decrease of nylon chip stocks, producers had to build up inventory, so they showed strong intentions to raise the prices. FDY makers were enforced to hike the offers due to high imported chip prices, whereas no trades were concluded at high levels.

The traded prices of nylon filament yarn largely stabilized. Downstream buying interest was moderate. Higher-grade semi-dull POY 86Dtex/24F remained at 21,500-21,700yuan/mt, and lower-grade one up slightly to 20,200-20,500yuan/mt.

Semi-dull FDY 70D/24F was offered up to 23,000-23,500yuan/mt, while the traded value still stayed at 22,200-22,500yuan/mt, with lower level at 22,000yuan/mt.

Semi-dull high-end DTY 70D/24F kept at 22,500-25,000yuan/mt. Higher-grade products were transacted at 24,000-25,000yuan/mt.
