The demand for combed cotton yarn 21, 32S and 40S was mostly in small amount in Shaoxing. Combed cotton yarn 40S reached a price level of 24000yuan/mt. Besides, high-grade medium-count cotton yarn was in tight supply. Cotton yarn market in Shandong softened a little, with cotton yarn 32S for weaving priced at about 19000yuan/mt. Medium-count ring-spun cotton yarn stocked up in Jiangsu. Colored open end cotton yarn 12S witnessed large demand and was changed hands at around 10900yuan/mt. Cotton yarn 21S/2 saw moderate sales in Guangdong, with a price of 20000yuan/mt.

Polyester staple fiber market weakened a little, while polyester yarn prices kept steady, with polyester yarn 32S for knitting priced at 13100-13300yuan/mt.
