Yashilin Lead a Positive Trend to Enjoy All the Resources

Published: 11 Apr 2009 13:14:49 PST

Positive  trend  followers  achieve  the  result with  half  efforts and  negative  trend  followers  achieve  half  the  result with doubled  efforts; while  positive  trend  leaders,  enjoy  all  the resources. Confronting with shrinking market due to global financial storm,  like  other  businesses,  Zhejiang Yashilin Group Co.,  Ltd.  is experiencing an unprecedented challenge. "Take the advantage and strive  in a positive  trend",  the Deputy GM Qiu Rufei said  that  the company  is breaking  through  the negative  trend and enjoys all the resources.

Fan Zhiyong, manager of a subsidiary shirt company of Yashilin Group, put down the headphone, said: "I have no choice. The order plan is  settled  even  in  Feb.  and March  of  the  next  year." He just declined a small order.  From the beginning of this year, the  shirt company is in overloaded production, so they have to decline some small orders. Established in 2002, the shirt company is a major force for the Group performance and its sales volume accounts  for 10% of the Group. Over the years, we have been maintaining the growth rate of more than 30%. Fan Zhiyong  reminded  that  they  started  the business from  scratch,  but  now  their  business  covers  all  over  the world,  and  become the partner of BARKERS and ROSSINI. This year when necktie business of the group is  facing a hardship,  the shirt company stands out and provides a strong support for the stable development of the Group. Yashilin, starting  from printing and dyeing  industry, hired  a South Korean  specialist  to  impart  printing and  dyeing  technique with monthly  pay  of  100,000 Yuan  in  early  1990s.  The  Company  has  always boasted  its  advantage  in  printing  and  dyeing,  and exercised  its  functions  to  the  fullest  in this  "chilly winter". A  few  years  ago,  they  began  to  involve  in kimono manufacturing,  and  followed  by  the  position of  semi-monopolized  in  the  industry.  "No premium craftsmanship, no acceptance for  demanding task". As we know, Japanese are strict with quality requirement. Their selection of Yashilin among so many manufacturers is a good proof of Yashilin' s  technical advantage.  Therefore, kimono manufacturing became another important source for profit increasing.

The main  product  of  the  Group-necktie, compared with  shirt  processing  and  kimono manufacturing,    looks  less  flourished. However, with the  adjustment  of  product  structure,  such  as  enlarge the output of medium  and  low  level polyester necktie and maintain  the output of high  level pure silk necktie which  has  increased  the  share  of medium  and lowlevel  products from  30%  at  the  beginning  of  the  year to 60%, the orders become stable and the business  is effectively relieved from the frustrating environment.

Now the company has obtained  the authentication and certif. cation of ISO9001, ISO14001, CQC voluntary quality  certificate, AAA Excel lent Standardization Enterprise Certificate  and  provincial  qualification certif. cate for measuring and test system, and  is  listed among  one  of  the  top  100-profit-gaining-enterprises in Chinese  garment  industry.  144 advanced weaving machines yield more than 16 million  neckties  and  5 million pieces of accessories like shirts and scarves in a year. "As the government enhanced the export rebate rate, it is a great promoter for our proft." Qiu Rufei said that the company will avail of itself this opportunity to follow the trend and realize further development on the basis of "keeping warm for the winter". "We are not only aimed to be a pioneer in domestic garment industry, but ultimately to realize  sustainable operation  and  render Yashilin  into  a pronoun of global fashion leader with various famous brands." Looking into the future, Qiu Rufei has a trump card up her sleeve.
