Younivate launches GPS tracking system

YounivateYounivate, an innovation pioneer of telecommunication and industrial engineering products and solutions based in Amman, has launched its second generation GPS tracking and fleet management system.

Engineered and designed in Jordan, the system YouniVu, tracks vehicles without GSM/GPRS data charges and is a one-time investment that saves money and is not GSM or GPRS-dependent, said a company statement.

Among other benefits YouniVu provides location and speeding information automatically via a local wireless network.

'Since YouniVu is wireless technology that doesn't require an operator's involvement, it saves you a lot of money on a monthly basis,' said Mojahed Qashoa, Younivate's vice president of Sales and Marketing.

According to Mojahed, YouniVu enables the monitoring of the engine condition (optional), asset tracking, driver identification, driver driving patterns among other things.

It is a multipurpose  system that can benefit parents with teenage drivers, households with employee drivers and any organization with commercial vehicles, Qashoa added.

Currently, YouniVu is not available for retail but this is a prospect that the company is looking into. The minimum YouniVu order now totals some 100 units.

Recently one of Younivate's clients ordered some  1,400 units Of YouniVu which saved the client hundreds of thousands of dollars in annual GSM/GPRS fees.

'With its hub in Jordan, from an industry perspective, Younivate aims to work with telecommunication products and industrial automation products,' Mojahed added.
