HONG KONG, Nov 4 - Motech Industries Inc <6244.TWO>, a maker of solar cells used to convert sunlight into electricity, plans to raise at least $200 million by issuing new shares by early next year.
"We need a minimum of $200 million," chief financial officer Norman Shen told Reuters in an interview.
He said the company, the world's eighth-largest solar cell maker by output, would seek shareholder approval before finalising plans to raise cash for expansion and new acquisitions.
