Dell says H1 growth in China relatively significant

HONG KONG, Oct 21 - PC maker Dell saw relatively significant year-on-year growth in all segments in China in the first half, company executives said on Wednesday.

The company saw sequential growth across most of Asia this year for big enterprise and public units, Dell executives said at a media event in Hong Kong.

Acer overtook Dell as the world's No.2 PC brand in the third quarter of this year, research firms IDC and Gartner said earlier this month, helped by its success in the low-cost netbook PC segment.
