TOKYO, Sept 7 - Japan's Toshiba Corp said on Monday it will stick to its plans to make next-generation 28-nanometre chips at its own plant in Oita, southern Japan, but it may outsource some production if its capacity is insufficient.
But Toshiba spokeswomen Hiroko Mochida declined to comment on a report that it is talks with Singapore's Chartered Semiconductor and Advanced Micro Devices spinoff Globalfoundries about contracting out extra chip production.
