Batelco unveils missed call service

Batelco has launched the new Prepaid Missed Call notification service for its prepaid Sim Sim customers.

With this convenient new service, SimSim subscribers will always know if they missed a call, even if their phone is switched off or their battery is dead. Batelco's missed call notification service captures call information and then forwards it to the customer via SMS.

The service is free of charge so customers will not be charged for any missed call notification received. An added feature of the service is that customers can choose whether to receive the message in English or Arabic for all their prepaid and postpaid subscribers, an option that is not available from any other local telecommunications company.

"The new service is being delivered as part of Batelco's ongoing commitment to expanding its SimSim package services," said Batelco Media and Government Relations general manager Ahmed Al Janahi.
