BatelcoBatelco, Bahrain's leading Internet service provider,  has reduced prices of up to 40 per cent on its business and educational inet broadband packages.

With effect from today (September 1) business and education customers can pay up to 40 per cent less on the rental charges of the existing four package speeds ranging from 256Kbps to 2Mbps plus have the choice to subscribe to four new package speeds ranging from 4Mbps to 10Mbps, making Batelco the provider of the fastest internet in the kingdom.

"Batelco's business and education customers on existing Broadband packages will be delighted to know that they will be automatically upgraded to the next higher package to benefit from double speed and more or unlimited usage at lower or the same monthly rental. The upgrades will take place within the first week of September 2009," said Batelco Media&Government Relations general manager Ahmed Al Janahi.

Keeping the needs of small and medium businesses in mind, Batelco was keen to offer threshold based packages at affordable prices starting from BD20 per month.
