Batelco launches auto credit transfer service

Batelco is now offering its SimSim prepaid customers an easy way to transfer credit from one account to another, with the introduction of 'Auto Credit Transfer' service.

SimSim subscribers will now be able to manage and control the SimSim accounts of their children, family members and staff, through automated monthly credit transfers.

To activate the new credit transfer service SimSim subscribers need to send a text to 4554 with the following information: 'Auto, CPR number, SimSim number, Amount'. The automatic transfer which is only available from one SimSim account to another SimSim account, will take place automatically on the 1st day of every month.

Both the sender and the receiver will receive a confirmation text message immediately after the transfer has taken place. In the event that the sender doesn't have sufficient credit in their account to make the transfer, they will receive an automatic notification to alert them.

SimSim customers can credit up to five numbers with a total amount of BD20 per month for each number.
