Fujitsu Wins International CTIA Wireless 2009 Emerging Technology Award

Las Vegas, NV, Apr 7, 2009 - ( ACN Newswire ) - Fujitsu Network Communications, a leading supplier of innovative optical and wireless networking solutions, announced today that its BroadOne LS LTE eNodeB has received a CTIA Emerging Technology (E-Tech) Award. The E-Tech Awards, now in their fourth year, recognize the best and most innovative wireless products and services in the areas of 4G; Enterprise and Vertical Market Solutions; Green Practices; Mobile Applications and Widgets; Mobile Consumer Electronics; and Network Infrastructure.

A panel of industry analysts, media and technology experts reviewed nearly 300 submissions to the E-Tech Awards this year, spanning 18 product categories. Entries were judged based on innovation, functionality, technological importance, implementation and overall "wow" factor. The BroadOne LS LTE eNodeB is being recognized in the category of "Innovation in Network Infrastructure - Wide Area Networking".
