Beware of a New Phishing Email!

Recently, some fraudsters have sent a new scam email pretending to be from Alibaba.com. The email claims that you cannot log in your Alibaba.com account for 1-2 weeks for security reason. If you received an email like this, PLEASE IGNORE IT. Please be noted that Alibaba.com will never use an email like: alibaba@goldsupplier-alibaba.com.




The following tips will help you protect your Alibaba account details and help you avoid being a victim of email fraud:
  • Alibaba will never ask for your password or personal information in an email unless you contact us for your account problems.And Alibaba will never suspend your Alibaba account a period of time for system upgrade.
  • Alibaba emails always contain your personal Member ID at the bottom.
  • Avoid filling out forms in any email that ask for sensitive information.
  • Don't click on suspicious links, always type www.alibaba.com in your browser’s address bar and go to My Alibaba to check your account status.
If you think you may have been a victim of email fraud, contact our service team by email at alibaba@service.alibaba.com and sign in to My Alibaba to change your password immediately.
