From the perspective of consumption, in September 2013, the total retail sales of social consumption goods reaches 2065.3 billion CNY, increasing 13.3% on year-on-year basis, which experiences a slight fall of 0.1% compared with market expectation and growth of the last month, while the slight fall of growth of consumption in September compared with August is mainly resulted from the relatively high base in last September. From the perspective of year-on-year consumption data after quarterly adjustment, the year-on-year growth in September reaches 1.24%, increasing 0.11% compared with August, while the increase range of year-on-year growth has witnessed the high point since April this year. As a whole, the consumption has still kept a recovery growth trend currently.
From the perspective of enterprises above limit, in September, the growth of food, clothes and other necessary consumption goods falls, while the growth of real estate, automobile and other optional consumption goods rise, therein, the consumption growth of automobile, building decoration and household appliance reaches 13.2%, 27% and 14.2% respectively, increasing 6.2%, 2.8% and 1.4% on month-on-month basis. Although the consumption of furniture falls 1.4% compared with last month, it still keeps at a high-order position of 19.9%.
