Chongqing - Hongkong cooperation shifts to service and trade industry

(CQNEWS) The Chongqing – Hongkong cooperation will step into a new start because of the service and trade partnership despite the financial crisis, said Lin Tianfu, President of Hongkong Trade Development Council on Oct. 22 afternoon. 

Lin said that Hongkong has set up a firm system for financial crisis as it experienced the Asian Financial Crisis 10 years ago, and now only a few companies have been influenced, which will not affect the Hongkong investment to Chongqing.

“If they are not interested in Chongqing, there will not be so many investors,” said Lin, who has brought 27 titans in banking, logistics, counseling and other industries to Chongqing this time.

This president believed that there will be a huge potential in the modern service industry between Hongkong and Chongqing, as well as the logistics and shipping industries.
