In 2009, China's Customs Tariff Commission decided to levy anti-dumping duties on the adipic acid from USA, EU and South Korea for five years from November 2, 2009.
Recently, China's Ministry of Commerce decided that Solvay Chemicals Korea Co., Ltd. should inherit the anti-dumping duties and other rights/obligations applied to Rhodia Korea Co., Ltd. in this case.
Relevant Matters as follow:
1. As from April 18, 2014, China Customs shall levy the antidumping duties at the rate of 5.9% on the importing adipic acid in the name of Solvay Chemicals Korea Co., Ltd.; and shall levy the antidumping duties at 16.7% on such import in the name of Rhodia Korea Co., Ltd. as "other South Korean companies".
2. Other issues relating to the antidumping case shall still resort to GACC Announcement No.70, 2009.
