Jingdong Mallâs sales revenue for home appliance reaches RMB 750 million on Jun.18, with the network traffic topping the industry

June 18th this year marks Jingdong Mall’s 10th anniversary, which witnessed a culmination in sales promotion for this anniversary. The statistic shows that the volume of order that day has surpassed 300 million, among which the sales revenue for home appliance reaches RMB 750 million, breaking Jingdong’s daily sales record for home appliance. Meanwhile, an outstanding network traffic share of 46.1% has topped the E-commerce industry, the other competitors lagging far behind.
 
During June 17-19, Jingdong Mall has launched “Lao Liu’s Promotion Offer”, a big promotional event in honor of the Mall’s 10th anniversary. It has been learned that Jingdong’s order volume on June 18th has exceeded 300 million, which doubled from a year earlier. And according to the statistics disclosed by Jingdong, its page view has come up to 0.35 billion on this single day.
 
On June 18th alone, the sales revenue for Jingdong’s home appliance reaches RMB 0.75 billion, breaking its daily sales record for home appliance. Over 50,000 laptops and computer monitors have been sold on this single day, while the total routers sold amounts to 0.2 million. As for mobile phones, the overwhelming momentum continues since a total of 0.2 million have been sold, which means that more than 2 mobile phones are sold per second. More than 20,000 digital camera deals are stricken as well as 35,000 earphones and loudspeaker boxes. Besides, the sales in digital video and audio products have surpassed the RMB 100 million mark, hitting a record high.
 
Based on Huihui Shopping Aid’ statistics which was released this morning, with a network traffic share of 46.1%, Jingdong has starkly topped the e-commerce industry. Tmall follows second with a share of 28.4%, while Amazon takes up the third place with a mere 6%. Even at its lowest phase, Jingdong is tied with the runner-up Tmall. Besides, a richer product category of 21,194 varieties at its lowest level has served Jingdong an extra edge in the e-commerce industry.
