February 22 MetalBiz--It is reported that Tangshan's stainless steel begins to receive small amount of orders and to run equipments after successfully completed trial producing the HR in November, 2009. In the first quarter of 2010, the contract scheduling production was about 5,000 tons, center on 400 series (taking up 72.43%) and 200 series (taking up 26.16%). And the rest is the HR 304, taking up 1.41%.
Currently, the first quarter of 2010 is still the company's trial operating period. But the corporation plans to begin to increase the output in April, breaking 10,000 tons in April. While the main products are 400 series and 200 series with slight HR 300 series to rich the production line. Owing to the bottleneck from acid-washing, the company provides black skin to Foshan and Jieyang, Guangdong. It also depends on the enough pickling line there.
The current HR width of Tangshan stainless steel is 1250mm deckle edge. The 200 series's main width is 3.25mm, 3.5mm and 4.0mm. The 400 series's width is 3.5mm and 4.0 mm. In the future, the depth will be cut down to 2.75mm, the ideal state.
