Canada levies temporary anti-dumping and countervailing tax on China petroleum pipes

Nov. 27 MetalBiz--Reporters learned on November 26 that Canada Border Services Agency recently made the preliminary adjudgement on levying the anti-dumping and countervailing tax on China petroleum pipes, claiming that since the statement, imported aforesaid products will be imposed the temporary anti-dumping and countervailing duty equal to dumping and countervailing degree.

| The adjudgement confirmed that China’s petroleum pipe industry is non-market-directed economic industry, and therefore Canada made the decision that the dumping degree of 11 appearing enterprises involved in case was 33.94%-110.69%, and that of enterprises being not responding to the case was 167%. The subsidy of appearing enterprises was 0.33%-2.47%, and that of enterprises being not responding to the case was 15%.
