Xinyu Steel's yearly output can reach 10mln tons
Published: 16 Nov 2009 18:11:50 PST Nov. 16 MetalBiz--Recently, Jiangxi Xinyu Steel's No. 10 blast furnace succeeds producing the first furnace of the qualified molten iron, which marks that Xinyu Steel's 3mln-ton sheet project is fully put into production, and therefore the company's yearly production capacity will reach 10mln tons of steel. Xinyu Steel's No. 10 blast furnace was designed to hold 2,500 cubic meters' containment, with the pig iron output of 2.1mln tons per year. Xinyu Steel's 3mln-ton sheet project is Jiangxi "The 11th Five-Year" major construction program with the total investment of 15bln yuan.
