World's largest steel grating group settles in Chongzhou, Sichuan

Nov. 9 MetalBiz--The world's largest rolling and welding steel grating producer, Huafu Group started to operate in Chongzhou. This is one of the first projects introduced by Chongzhou since the "May 12th" earthquake with totally investment of 45mln yuan, and it is expected that it can produce nearly 150,000 square meters per year.

It is learned that it is the first time that Australia's Huafu group invested in Sichuan, as the confidence project after "May 12th" earthquake, it only took half day to negotiate and sign the contract. This project is located in Chongzhou industry concentrating developing area, covering 27 mu, with nearly 10,000 square meters of construction area. The first steel grating production line was put into the production, it will achieve the yearly value of 60mln yuan and solve the employment of 100 people afflicted by a natural disaster.

Currently, Chongzhou City holds 125 re-construction projects after the disaster, and the total investment reaches 42.9bln yuan.
