SYDNEY, Nov 5 - Iron ore shipments from Australia's Port Hedland rose 2 percent to 14.7 million tonnes between September abd October, port figures showed on Thursday.
In September, the port shipped 14.4 million tonnes.
Port Hedland handles BHP Billiton Ltd's <BLT.L> <BHP.AX> and Fortescue Metals Group's <FMG.AX> production from Western Australia's Pilbara iron ore producing region and is one of the country's two main iron ore export ports.
