Taiwan steel mills increased export price 300 series stainless steel for Nov.

November 2 MetalBiz--Taiwan's two largest stainless steel producers-Yusco and Tang Eng Iron Works would improve export prices by U.S.$ $100 per ton for November, reflecting a price rising of nickel in October.
 
Yusco said in a statement on October 29 that the price of 300 series HRC and CRC would increase U.S.$60-100/t for November, while the price of 400 series ones was unchanged. An official from Yusco pointed out that "due to the price increase of nickel, we will follow the export market price." She expressed the price of stainless steel was much higher in Middle East and Europe.

An official from Tang Eng showed that as the nickel price rose, the export price of 300 series stainless steel from Tang Eng would improve U.S. $ 80-100 / t.

Yusco would keep the price of 300 series and 400 series stainless steel unchanged, while the price of 300 series from Tang Eng stayed the same in Taiwan. Thus, the price (including freight) of 304 CRC and 2mm 2B CRC from Yusco stands at 96,000 NT/t (U.S. $ 2950 / t) and 100,500 NT/t (U.S. $ 3088 / t) correspondingly.

The price( including freight) of 304 HRC and 2B CRC from Tang Eng in Taiwan will be 94,500 NT/t(U.S. $2,904/t)and 98,500 NT/t (U.S.$ 3,027/t) respectively. An official from Yusco unveiled, compared with export market, the demand and market price in Asia and Tainwan was relatively low.

Nickel price in London Metal Exchange has risen by U.S. $ 800 / t around since the beginning of October.
