Shagang exported 3,500 tons of HR wire rod to S.Korea

November 2 MetalBiz--Recently Jiangsu Shagang exported 3,500 tons of HR wire rod to S.Korea smoothly, with the price higher U.S. $100 per ton than June.

Due to the financial crisis, the international steel demand was stagnant and the price decreased significantly since H2 2008. The competitive products of Jiangsu Shagang-HR wire rod also suffered great damage. The export dropped more than 90% year on year in H1 2009 and there was no export after June.
