Jiangsu Shagang Group to expand wire rod output
Published: 28 Oct 2009 22:14:56 PSTOctober 28 MetalBiz--China's Jiangsu Shagang Group has awarded contracts to Siemens VAI Metals Technologies for two sets of the new wire rod rolling machineries.
This two wire rod rolling machineries will help Shagang Group's Zhangjiagang plant to increase its production capacity.
The total value of this contract is over than 10mln euro. Siemens VAI Metals Technologies will supply first set of new wire rod rolling machinery to Zhangjiagang plant around mid-2010 and the second set will be supplied to Zhangjiagang plant in the third quarter of 2010.
Jiangsu Shagang Group is the largest production base of steel made by EAF process and special steel in China.
