Sep. daily output of crude steel averaged 1.69mln t, setting a new high

Oct. 22 MetalBiz--According to the statistics from National Bureau of Statistics of China, China's crude steel, pig iron and steel productions in September were 50.71mln tons, 47.92mln tons and 61.16mln tons respectively, up by 28.7%, 27.7% and 31.6% correspondingly. The daily output of crude steel was 1.69.3mln tons per ton, creating a new high again. During the January-September period, crude steel, pig iron and steel production were 420.4mln tons, 406.31mln tons and 501.8mln tons, up by 7.5%, 11.1% and 12.4% respectively.

Combining the imports and exports calculation, in September, the domestic crude steel and steel resource supply were 50.39mln tons and 60.6mln tons, up by 50.5% and 47.5% correspondingly; in January-September, the domestic crude steel and steel resource supply were 421.77mln tons and 499.47mln tons, up by 20% and 21.7% respectively.
