China offers HRC with low price to Taiwan
Published: 16 Oct 2009 01:40:23 PSTOct. 16 MetalBiz--Recently it is reported that one of the China's leading mills offered US$475 per ton for HRC of 30,000 tons through traders to Taiwan.
Once the cargo successfully penetrates into the Taiwan market, Taiwan market will be in chaos, said a market participant.
Market participants said that according to the present Taiwan market situation, the price of HRC from China is about US$90 per ton lower than that in Taiwan.
Some market participants reckoned that China Steel Corporation (CSC) should talk with the Chinese mills about this issue to prevent the Taiwan market from disorder.
