Taiwan imports more HRC with lower price
Published: 15 Oct 2009 22:22:31 PSTOctober 15 MetalBiz--It is estimated that over 100,000 tons of HRC would arrive Taiwan during October and November.
Some rolling mills have booked the cheap resources for the production of December to hold a good position to negotiate the price with China Steel Corp. and Chung Hung Steel.
According to the current market situation, the imported HRC are about U.S.$50 per ton cheaper than that from China Steel Corp.
