Oct. 13 MetalBiz--According to the report on October 12, UK government may postpone the 1bln pound financing plan, aiming to help build the first "clean coal" generating-electricity station throughout the world, previously energy company E.ON AG decided to freeze its coal-electricity project in Kent for at longest three years.
Paul Golby, head of E.ON in UK in an interview stated that the government had agreed to continue retaining the capital competition qualification of Kingsnorth project, although this project is not likely to be completed before the deadline.
UK wants to become the leader in carbon recycling and storing technology, to realize the government's plan, the energy company had expected that it will build up a 400-megawatt carbon recycling and storing demonstrating mill before 2014.
