China's steel exports rose in August

Oct. 12 MetalBiz--According to statistics, China exported 1.97mln tons of steel products in August, up by 304,000 tons, around 18.2% higher than July.

The major exporting countries are as follows: East Asia 1.28mln tons, up by 30.2% year on year; Middle East 157,000 tons, down by 7.6%; North America 54,000 tons, staying unchanged; the United States 41,000 tons, up by 20.6%; EU-27 54,000 tons, hiked by 1.9%; Latin America 92,000 tons, climbed by 21.1%; Africa 198,000 tons, up by 25.3% and Oceania 32,000 tons, up by 52.3%.
