Iran plans to newly build up 7 grassroots refinery

Oct. 10 MetalBiz--According to the report of Iran Daily on October 8, Oil Ministry stated recently stated that Iran will newly build seven grassroots refinery and bring in a large amount of private-operated capital during the construction.

The total investment of the above-mentioned seven grassroots refinery reaches US$45.5bln, among them, 20% is from government, and others are provided by private-owned capital. The above-mentioned grassroots refinery are expected to be operated before March, 2012, and daily production capacity is petrol for 36mln litres, light oil for 1.2mln litres, liquefying gas for 3mln litres and kerosene for 3mln litres.
