S.Korea stainless steel export is unsatisfactory

Sep.25 MetalBiz--The price drops of nickel and China's stainless steel imposed negative effects on S.Korea stainless steel export. It is learned that export price of stainless steel from POSCO declined U.S. $200-U.S. $300 per ton for October-November, but oversea customers asked to decrease the price future and held the watch-and-see attitude to the market. Most of customers required the price of 304 CRC (0.5mm) to be less than U.S. $2,700 per ton. Now there are few contracts for 304 CRC export to China and Taiwan, while the export price to Southeast Asia is U.S. $2,850-U.S. $2,900 per ton (CFR) and to Europe and Central East with the offer of U.S. $2,700-U.S. $2,800 per ton (FOB).
