Export price of flat products from China to S.Korea slipped continuously

Sep.23 MetalBiz--The export price of general heavy plate for Nov. from China to S.Korea was at U.S. $525-U.S. $530 per ton (CFR) recently. The offer from Tanggang and Shaogang was U.S. $525 per ton (CFR) and U.S. $535 per ton (CFR) respectively, which was lower U.S. $20-U.S.$30 per ton than the price of other steel mills two-three weeks ago.

China HR plate offer also decreased constantly. The export price from Jigang and Rigang stood at U.S. $510-U.S. $515 per ton (CFR) and U.S. $510 per ton (CFR) correspondingly. With the price drops of China's HRC price, most consumers in S.Korea began to import but the volume was unknown. Traders believed that China-made HRC may be imported more than 10,000 tons in October.
