North American steel mills increased the surcharge of stainless steel for October

Sep.17 MetalBiz--North American stainless steel manufacturer-ThyssenKrupp Mexinox announced the alloy surcharge for October.

Thereinto, the extra fee of 304/304L stainless flat products increased 26% to U.S.$0.83 per pound, an increase of U.S.$0.17 per pound (U.S.$340 per short ton) and the surcharge of 316/316L inclined about U.S.$0.32 per pound (U.S.$640 per short ton) to U.S.$1.33 per pound, with a 32% rising. The 430 ferritic stainless steel continued to climb, a growth of U.S.%0.01 per pound (U.S.$20 per short ton) to U.S.$0.17 per pound.
