S.Korea-Japan negotiation on HRC deadlockedv
Published: 08 Sep 2009 23:50:36 PST Sep.9 MetalBiz--The HRC price negotiation for Q4 between S.Korea CRC makers and Japan' s steel mills was deadlocked. Recently China' s steel mills signed the export contract with S.Korea consumers according to U.S.$520-560 per ton (CFR), which was far lower than the expected export price of Japan' s steel mills. The Q3 supply of JFE for Oct. just ended, which also affected the HRC price negotiation between S.Korea and Japan.
